The USPTO's newly announced office in Atlanta highlights the huge potential offered by the city increasingly known for its support for IP intensive industries, find Brenda Holmes and Ted Davis of Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton.

The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) recently selected the Atlanta metropolitan area as the location for its newest regional office. The office will be an extension of the USPTO's headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia and will serve the Southeast region.
